Where we ship.
We ship Queer Ink books to readers in India and internationally. Domestic shipping covers all Indian states and union territories. International shipping covers most countries; we will let you know at checkout if your destination is unavailable.
How long it takes.
Within India: three to seven business days for metro cities, seven to fourteen business days for other locations. Remote areas may take longer.
International: ten to twenty-one business days, depending on destination and customs processing in the receiving country. Some destinations may take longer due to local conditions.
Orders are dispatched within two business days of payment confirmation. You will receive a dispatch notification with tracking details.
What it costs.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and selected speed. We use:
— India Post Speed Post and registered post for domestic shipping
— India Post International, DHL, or FedEx for international shipping (depending on destination and order weight)
For orders above a stated threshold, domestic shipping may be free; this will be indicated at checkout.
Customs, duties, and taxes (international orders).
For shipments outside India, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, GST/VAT/sales tax, or other charges levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the shipping cost shown at checkout.
If a package is refused or returned because customs charges were not paid, the original shipping cost is non-refundable; the book itself can be refunded once it returns to us.
Tracking your order.
Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. For India Post, track at indiapost.gov.in. For DHL or FedEx, track on the carrier's website using the number provided.
If your package is lost or delayed.
Within India: if your package has not arrived within fourteen business days of dispatch, write to us. We will trace the package with the courier and either replace the order or refund in full.
International: if your package has not arrived within thirty business days of dispatch, write to us. International tracing can take time; we will work with the carrier to locate the package or replace the order.
If your package is damaged.
If a package arrives visibly damaged, please photograph it before opening and write to us within seven days. We will replace the book or refund in full per the Refund Policy.
Address accuracy.
Please double-check the shipping address at checkout. Packages sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer cannot be reshipped at our cost; we will work with you to recover the package and arrange reshipment, with shipping charges to be paid again.
Digital products.
For digital products (eBook downloads, the free Writer's Guidebook PDF, paid Storytellers Studio materials when available), delivery is by email or download link, typically within minutes of payment. There are no shipping costs.
