Sapphic India

I am committing my time in 2024 to a comprehensive exploration and amplification of the diverse stories of Indian women who love women. This commitment extends beyond mere investigation; I am also focused on offering both online and in-person support, particularly in the vibrant city of Mumbai.

An integral part of this endeavour involves the creation of more literature that delves into the experiences of Indian women embracing same-sex relationships. This literary expansion is curated to capture the multifaceted aspects of their narratives, spanning lived experiences, fantasies, relationships, dreams, and beyond. The overarching goal is to establish a robust platform for these women, allowing them to articulate their voices and contribute to a more enriched cultural landscape.

This commitment to storytelling goes beyond traditional mediums. Through a combination of interviews, articles, multimedia content, and collaborative projects, 2024 is poised to be a transformative year dedicated to championing the voices of Indian women who love women.

The Sapphic Circle provides a nurturing and welcoming space for Indian women embracing same-sex relationships. We acknowledge the complexities faced by women loving women in India, where choices often involve navigating the realms of public, private, or secrecy. Rest assured, we prioritise privacy and confidentiality.

Our gatherings will take place both online and in-person, with scheduled meetings in Mumbai throughout the year 2024.
