Owais enthusiastically embraces various endeavours, casting his fingers into numerous pies within his reach. His extensive tenure spanned nearly 25 years in the IT industry, which he eventually relinquished to pursue experiences that he might otherwise rue missing out on. As a notable presence in the Indian LGBT movement, Owais played a pivotal role before delving even deeper, urging individuals to engage more authentically with the realities of life.

His interests led him to formulate an ecological economics theory, positing that human overpopulation and excessive consumption have driven the species to a critical juncture where the ‘Ecological Imperative’ could potentially bring its downfall. In addition to these pursuits, he nurtures aspirations of venturing into organic farming. Presently, he humorously dubs himself a ‘servitor-slut’, a label that implies an obligatory audience for his lengthy lectures, spanning up to eight hours. He is a published poet and writer alongside his multifaceted pursuits.
