Books and physical goods.
If your book arrives damaged or defective: write to us within seven days of receipt with a photograph. We will replace the book at no cost or refund the full purchase price plus shipping, at your preference.
If you receive the wrong book: write to us within seven days. We will arrange return shipping at our cost and send the correct book or refund in full.
If you change your mind: unread, undamaged books may be returned within fourteen days of receipt for a refund of the book price (shipping is not refunded for change-of-mind returns). Return shipping is at your cost. Books must be in resaleable condition.
Refund timeline: approved refunds are processed within seven business days to the original payment method. Bank-side processing may add three to ten additional days depending on your bank.
QConversations bookings.
Free rescheduling: up to forty-eight hours before the session, by writing to us. No fee, no questions.
Within forty-eight hours: sessions can be rescheduled once. After that, the fee is forfeit.
If we cancel: the full fee is refunded or the session is rescheduled at your preference.
If you do not attend: the fee is forfeit. We will respond to a follow-up email if you wish to book another session.

Patron subscriptions.
Cancel any time. You can cancel a recurring patron subscription at any time, from your account or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access and benefits until that date.
Refunds for the current period: we do not refund the current month's or year's subscription on cancellation, as your contribution has already supported the work for that period.
Refunds for billing errors: if you have been charged in error (duplicate charge, charge after cancellation, charge at the wrong tier), write to us within thirty days and we will refund the error in full within seven business days.
Pay-It-Forward contributions.
Pay-It-Forward contributions are gifts to fund community access. They are non-refundable except in cases of demonstrable error (duplicate charge, charge in error). If you change your mind about a Pay-It-Forward gift, write to us within seven days and we will use our discretion in good faith.
Storytellers Studio fees (forthcoming, 2026).
When the Studio launches, specific refund terms will apply to cohort fees, individual mentorship, and workshops. These will be presented at the point of booking and linked from this page.
How to request a refund.
Write to shobhna@queer-ink.com with subject line REFUND — [your order or booking reference]. Include the order or booking reference, the reason for the refund, and any photographs (for damaged goods). We respond within five business days.
Disputes.
If we cannot resolve a refund matter directly, you may approach the relevant consumer protection authority in India (under the Consumer Protection Act 2019) or your home jurisdiction. We will engage with any such process in good faith.
