SAHODARAN is a NGO, working with MSM (males who have sex with males) and Transgender person on HIV/AIDS prevention and education.
Started in 1998, Sahodaran is based in Chennai (once Madras), and is one of the oldest support groups in South India.
The calendar was shot exclusively in HAMPI – Karnataka, and has been inspired by the magnificence and splendour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site- that evokes the heydays of the Vijayanagara Empire that ruled in the 14th till 16th century.
This is a collaborative/not-for-profit effort, by a team consisting of well-known Fashion Designers/Stylists and Photographer from India. The calendar has also served a as platform to launch and discover ‘New MALE Faces’ for the Media/Fashion Industry.
The proceeds from the calendar, go towards the functioning and rendering of basic services to the community members of Sahodoran.
Please support us by being there and carrying forward our work.
